Chiara was born and brought up in Florence, Tuscany, renowned as the capital city of art and culture. After her completing her education, she worked as a marketing consultant for a local company.

She has been involved in coordinating functions on a corporate level beginning in 1995, but in 2002, has moved on to assisting brides and grooms in planning their wedding day, starting her own company " Weddings in Tuscany".
